“The hardest hurdle to overcome is the start, once achieved I believe through Jesus Christ anything is possible”

Let’s get back to the basics of health. I am so glad that you choose to visit Rehab Alley to receive information regarding general health and physical rehabilitation. I would like to start by providing some background of who I am, what I have experienced, and what led to the development of this website.

Since graduating from the University of Texas Medical Branch with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2012, I have been practicing as a Physical Therapist in various settings including: Acute Care Rehabilitation, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient Rehabilitation,  Skilled Nursing Facility, Travel Therapy, and Home Health Care.  I also have experience working for (3) major hospitals, and as a missionary in the Dominican Republic rehabbing primarily the older adult population from ailments such as: total knee arthroplasty, total hip arthroplasty, lumbar and cervical decompression & fusion, stroke, below-the-knee, and above-the-knee amputations, non-traumatic spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, heart disease, peripheral neuropathies, various cancers, and other neurological diseases.

Through my experiences working with various hospitals, I begin to see an opportunity to provide additional information to my patients that would further improve their overall health and wellness. I sought to improve my knowledge through research and incorporating non-conventional health strategies that challenge the status quo. I felt compelled to create a platform that address numerous rehabilitation needs, as well as provide information and resources that will help patients worldwide. As healthcare cost continue to rise, my vision was for Rehab Alley to provide a cost-effective way for individuals to receive the instruction and guidance they needed.

I started Rehab Alley in 2019 as a way for my humble voice to be heard. Although most information on this website is based on research and experience relating to physical rehabilitation and mobility equipment, I believe in a holistic view of health. It is very difficult to rehab your body on the outside if you are sick on the inside.

Through my content on this website, I strive to not only provide information and recommendations about physical rehabilitation, but also about basic nutrition, stress reduction, and even financial issues and how to curb the rising cost of healthcare. Let Rehab Alley optimize your physical function.
